Making the XFL better

xfl.com I've read some of things that the XFL wants to bring. While I understand that's a business owner that you're saying what may be considered the right thing, I don't believe it's the right approach. You'll see article that I wrote prior to this one about the excitement and the things that I love about the XFL. Holding athletes out because of past problems is a double edged sword. Some guys know how to recover and stay away from trouble While others may not. I think this will be a great opportunity for those trouble athletes. At the same time, again, there's a double-edged sword. Rather than attract attention to yourself, your best bet is not to have an Anthem at all. I say this because this creates too much controversy and rather than a track more attention than you need (negative attention that is) find something else to introduce the game. "Will you Just taste the Soup"?

sbnation.com Ok, who spilled the soup? Unfortunately, JR Smith did more than that. He actually was bold enough to throw soup at assistant coach Damon Jones. The entire details of the story is very tight lipped at this moment, but  the situation happened during the shoot around. This is just horrific, and unacceptable.  The team is facing a tough run, but even with that said doesn't remotely come close to justifying his actions. I struggling to find out where he got the audacity to pull such a move. This type of disrespect can't be tolerated.  It's reported that Smith will play this Saturday, however for me personally,  the suspension should have been longer; a harsh month to rest his shoulder from that strain of throwing the soup....
